The Pacific halibut was caught in the waters of the Cook Inlet in Homer, Alaska. It took Whitsitt a good 45 minutes to reel in the 231 pound monster! And that's not even the largest. Check this out!
Rest your retinas on this hefty halibut!
Incredible! This must have taken all 4 men to reel in! And it's still not the biggest halibut! Check this out...
Günther Hansel, 70, and the 482lb behemoth he caught near Berlin.
This whale of a fish. This ocean-displacing swimmer. This is the world's largest recorded halibut. If it falls on your foot, it crushes your foot. One can't help but stand in awe of it, and then eat it.
